Meet Marlon our Lot Manager

Meet Marlon Stewart our lot manager, he says it's the variety and meeting people in his job that he enjoys the most.

"Some people think the Lot Manager just keeps the parking area clean, but it involves much more than that," he explains.

"When new vehicles arrive on the big trucks, I receive and inspect the inventory. Then when pre-owned vehicles come in, we're committed to them being in top shape, so I will take them to the body shop to get estimates to have meeting our Northern Honda Certification standards," adds Marlon.

Plus, he says there's an actual strategy to maximizing every square inch of your outside lot. "I make sure the lot looks great, that any empty spaces from sales are immediately filled. It's also a bit of a science to ensure the right cars are parked in the right order for ease of viewing and walkarounds by the customers."

Northern Ontario winters also provide a challenge for any busy car dealership. Marlon ensures the lot is cleared, is safe, and that vehicles are still accessible no matter how much snow Mother Nature dumps on us.

Marlon's been with Northern Honda for 6 years and says it's great to work for Dealer Principle David Barber. "I've known Dave since we were in high school together, and he's a man of his word. I like that because it trickles down throughout the entire dealership."

When he's not busy at Northern Honda, Marlon enjoys spending time with his wife and seeing their 3 adult children whenever they can. He also enjoys playing golf in the warmer months.
